A great experience until I signed the paperwork. The car stink of cigar smoke which I was told would be taken care of...then after I closed the deal I'm told there is only one fob. I have been going to Hyundai dealers for years because I only trust Brian Butler in service dept to work on my car so when he moved to the new John Amato I followed. Recently I needed to purchase a new vehicle and so it was my first choice to start looking. I worked with Joe Zenzola and he was wonderful. Extremely helpful and accommodating, that man worked hard to get me a new car! Nothing but good things to say from start to finish.

Came in for my first complimentary service last week, service tech was awesome and quick answering questions and they even washed my car for free. Ade who I bought my Santa Cruz from was knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with.

Service Department did fine with a couple of recalls but the parts person I spoke with refused to look anything up without a VIN number. I do parts for a living, I know there are ways to look things up without a VIN.

Amato wanted to charge me $180 for a 4 wheel alignment when they had the service special on their site for $110. They said the site was wrong and would take the special down immediately but gave me the alignment for the special rate. 3 days later their site still had the alignment for $110. Steering wheel was not made straight. They told me there was nothing they could do about it.

As far as I know, work was completed as ordered. it took about 20 minutes longer than quoted. Additionally, the invoice for the bill does not total correctly - the itemized lines including tax/etc., do not add up to what I was charged (I was charged more - only a few dollars, but still). I was also told my car would be washed and it was not. Dealership was not busy - 2 other people were waiting in addition to myself.

I Always taken my vehicle to Amato Hyundai, I can say they do care about there customers vehicles. Sam and his team helped me purchase a car ( I live out of state) to be delivered to my son in WI. Very helpful and honest.

The service department lacks a customer focus. After blowing through 2 promises to complete the needed repairs without any apology I got a 3rd promise for a few more days. I guess anything more complicated than an oil change takes 2 weeks to complete. I am a dissatisfied customer, but they don't care. So I will find another service provider.
